Or something like that.
Holly and Nicole (of Summond Leather) decided to skip down south for a weekend and I was lucky enough to tag along. Before reaching the magical city of Todos Santos, we flew into the major airport in Cabo, and stayed one night in San Jose. We watched Dance Moms in Spanish. Abby Lee Miller was even more terrifying with a Spanish voiceover.
Pictured above is what we'd wake up to in Todos Santos. The city itself is off the beaten path and our digs were a ways away from the main part of town. You needed to have an ATV or at the very least, a four wheel drive to get to the spot, and had to keep an eye out for the pack of wild dogs that liked to chase your cars. On our first night, we saw/squished at least five little cucaraches and we were napping on top of giant, white wolf spiders. Yippekaiyay, motherfucker.
But it was all so worth it. Waking up to this view, eating amazing fresh fruit, swimming everyday, eating diabetes-inducing Mexican candy, and driving into town to see what was poppin' off at church that day...Sigh. We'll be back, Baja!
